The Present by Scott Thrift

The Present is a collection of cyclical wall-mounted timepieces made by Scott Thrift in Vermont—Year, Moon, and Day instruments that enrich clock-time with natural rhythms.

Founded by Scott Thrift in 2012, The Present reveals the rhythms of nature.

The Present - Year is a 365-day timepiece that reveals the rhythm of a year on Earth.

The Present - Day is a 24-hour timepiece that reveals the rhythm of night and day.

The Present - Moon is a 29.5-day timepiece that reveals the lunar rhythm.

Why is it called The Present?

The hand always points to the present moment.

One hand.

One revolution.

The Present helps you see the moments of your life in the context of the natural world, not the industrial one.

It makes the present moment itself something you can see, feel, and live with.

Give yourself The Present and see the time you’ve been missing.
